Kyle NMSU

Dorm room set up and then I said let’s do it different.  Kyle said ok and then we tried to move the bed down.  It seemed simple in my mind. The bed was to tall and impossible to make his bed and no room for anything.  Kyle agreed but Jared had run to the store so without his help, Kyle and I took everything apart.  I broke the bed it all fell down.  Kyle was mad and I started crying it was actually the worst.  Kyle is so kind and held it all together and I lost it.  Jared walked back in He calmly put everything back together he didn’t say anything to either of us he just fixed it all with an positive smile and we had a perfect room before we left to go to church.  

We went to church and realized that all YSA wards are a bit strange but it ok everyone is included.  We had ice cream and the whole trip was great except for the parts that weren’t and the fact we left my heart in Las Cruses.  

Don’t worry the whole drive down we had walkie talkies which I thought was silly but we had so much fun talking back and forth! Over and out!  

That’s a wrap!  Kyson  and Juli’s are married and off the figure out life!

The Best weekend !  Russ and Brenda had the farewell and we had all the family fun planned!  Baptisms in the Payson temple with all the Grandkids.  I’m pretty sure is was Brenda and Russel dream come true!

Tawna decided Sarah’s needed to make a table and bench for Phoenix with Russ.  Cohen and Tayson helped Tawna stain it.   Cohen said the tawna is a carpenter just like Jesus so she pretty much is “Just like Jesus!”  He then decided that if Tawna is Jesus then he and tayson of the prophets for helping Jesus!  It was pretty much making us laugh!!! 

We did a simple hike to a tiny waterfall and just joked and had fun the whole time!   

I told Cohen to turn around and look scared!  This is the pose he did.  None of us thought this was scared!!!  

Don’t worry the hard work got done!  Everyone took a different shift!

This is just the beginning!   A two year adventure for Brend and Russ and the rest of us get to follow along!

Cheer shows up different at Volleyball!  They get to rock the student section!  I’m not sure why these long boy shorts became a thing but they do bring out a whole new side to Allie.  Adorable!  Her friend Bracie is definitely a sidekick  for the win!

Don’t worry being on the year book staff allows you to take as many shots as you want to get the perfect student ID !  Also Media Access so she can skip class.

I’m pretty sure in two weeks of 9th grade Allie has figured out how to RUN the school!  Love this cute girl! 

I may have a problem

Today at POP I ordered my normal drink the Payroll.  I got to the window and the girl said “ I have your Banana Berry Blast”. 

I was confused and said WHAT?  no?   She read the label again and then laughed and said just kidding of course we have your payroll.  “ we start making it when we see your car!  

So there you go I drink to much soda! 

Perfect night

Jared sent out an evite to the kids.  I thought it was silly but they all added it to their calendar and dinner was planned!  Tomorrow we are driving Kyle to NMSU, Kaden was in town visiting Clara’s sister and cheer practice was canceled. 

Everyone climbed in the car together and we headed to dinner in Durango!  So much laughing and absolutely no complaints!  It really was just good simple fun! 
I love these guys so much 

Happy Monday!!!   Allie started High school today so that was fun!  

I have to tell you my daily devotional … This past weekend we spend cleaning out Jared’s parents house to get it ready to rent while they are on there mission.  We went to his parent’s ward in Goshen Utah.  This is a small town the people are very small town people, farmers and simple I’m not sure how explain them.  We sat down and waited for sacrament meeting to start and a Brother came and welcomed us in the ward and asked us to move because we were sitting in his spot. 

People are so funny.  

The devotional side is this.  Allie and I look over and there is a rough looking man sitting at the organ.  We didn’t think to much about it until he started playing and his eyes just wondered the crowd.  He never actually touched the keys or even looked at the organ.  We just laughed and Jared’s dad told us he actually doesn’t know how to play the organ.  He was asked to be the organist and comes every week, sit at the organ and pushes the auto play button.  I decided it’s amazing to accept a calling you absolutely have no talent for and doing it to the best of your ability with confidence and consistency.  Could someone else do it better for sure they could but sometimes it’s not about who can do it better.  God needs the willing and he helps them be able.

Today we were helping Brenda and Russ clean out there house getting ready for there mission. 

On top of the fridge was a little orange pop gun.  Russ pulled it out and told us all the story…

He was on a set at raging waters they had huge buckets of water they would push into the wave pool to make waves for Jesus.  They left the set that night.  A truck was left on set and the driver left the keys on the seat in the car.  Russ was in security.  When he came back around the truck was gone.  He asked the gate guard and he saw it leave but didn’t think anything about it thinking the owner came to take it.  Russ got in his truck and drove to find the truck he went left then left again and then left again and saw the truck he called it in and pulled them over.  Had to pull a gun on them and Told them to keep their hands up.  They already had filled the truck with drugs and the Salt lake police had been looking for them.  Russ was the Hero!  To celebrate the Chief got him a cake and gave him the orange snap pop gun.    

 We all laughed , Russ was so proud and then threw away the gun.  Since we were cleaning.  Later on that night Allie came in my room and told me I was heartless to make grandpa throw away his toy gun.  I told her I took a picture and then my heart broke.  We both ran to the trailer and dig through the garbage finally found the gum washed it and gave it back to Russ.  Allie is now the Hero and Russ is keeping the Gun forever in his gun vault!
